BAY CITY -- The Richmond wrestling team lost Saturday in the finals of the Bay City Western Super Duals to Dundee, 32-16.

It was the first loss of the season for the Blue Devils (30-1).

Richmond entered the tournament ranked No. 1 in Division 3,
while Dundee was ranked No. 2. It's likely the teams will swap places when the poll is released.

During the day, Richmond defeated Alpena 81-0 and Linden 61-0 before moving on to the semifinals and defeating Allegan, the No. 1-ranked team in Division II 27-27 on criteria.

Brian Henke (140 pounds) and Roger Crump (160) each went undefeated at 4-0.

"It was disappointing we lost to Dundee," Richmond Coach George Hamblin said. "They outperformed us. We don't make excuses at Richmond. They exposed some weaknesses and some things we need to work on."

Richmond will be back in action Friday at Michigan State University, facing St. Johns.
